Our first DOUBLE-FEATURE public screening!!

Hey kiddies! If you were lucky enough, you were present to see our first 'public screening' of both Blood Relic (re-edited) and For My Sister! We're at the Percolator in downtown El Paso and utilizing the small theatre located within. Next time I'll post ahead of schedule when we'll be doing a 'public screening' as this time it was sort of impromptu. Be sure to check out our Youtube page to see all our films we've been working on. Blood Relic should be up once we get past technical uploading difficulties. Keep an eye and ear out for January 2012 as we'll be doing a fundraiser for The Wake!

Welcome to the corner of the internet where your imagination comes to life...then EATS you!!

Hello and welcome to the beginning of a journey.

As an up and coming film production company out of El Paso, Food For Worms Motion Pictures will be conjuring up some very interesting projects for your enjoyment. The core of our group consists of 3 like-minded individuals that started working together in the Spring of 2010 and have already created a 10-minute short using rod puppetry (Offering), a 5-minute supernatural short (Wraith) and a 15-minute horror short film (Blood Relic).

As our company grows and encompasses more talent and funding, other projects will be attacked with the same fervor and passion that is the bond of our crew. The Wake, brought about by J.I.Garcia, initially under the Exorcystems banner, is a fully planned out feature length horror film that will bring to the screen some of the goriest practial effects scares ever seen to date. Our campaign for this film just recently ended on IndieGoGo, http://igg.me/p/24823?i=shlk, but sadly fell short of our fundraising mark by miles. However a new campaign is under way to raise more funds for this film and we are determined to make it happen one way or the other. Another film project, titled Wasteland Warriors, intially conceived by Christopher Barnes and Gino Ybarra under the Scour Studios banner, is also in the works. It had started out as an extremely short little film that captures the struggle of remnants of humanity and islands of mutants living in co-existence in a post-nuclear world.

Alas, those two projects  probably won't come to fruition for possibly another year or two depending on production costs and funding. However, filming is about to commence for a new film entitled To Scare Crows. The production itself began in late November of 2010 and after finalizing our storyboards and some inital test shots, principal photography will begin in the next few weeks! A few pictures are already up on our facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100002763607496&sk=wall, and I'll be posting some up here as well starting with the one below.

So keep your eyes plastered to this blog for more news in the future of the great things to come. All our videos will be posted on both our Youtube and Vimeo pages, both of which are linked on the right-hand column of this page. Any questions or comments, feel free to leave them here on the blog or write us at our email account.
